Operations with complex numbers Maths Complex numbers

Overview:

Arithmetic operations with complex numbers can be easily performed:

  • Addition, subtraction, multiplication, division

You may:

  • Change the value of either one of two vectors or dots (blue and red) and read the result of the operation (black vector or dot)
  • Work in Cartesian or Polar coordinates


Suggestions:

Fix simple values of both vectors and check the result with the help of paper and pencil.

Explain the relation between what you see in both coordinate systems.
