Overview:

A simulation which explores reflection and refraction from air to glass and from glass to air, including total internal reflection.

You may change the:

  • Index of refraction of the glass
  • Angle of incidence


Suggestions:

Analyse the process for varying values of the parameters.

Explain the differences between air-to-glass and glass-to-air.

Discuss qualitatively the intensity of the reflected and refracted rays in each situation.
