| sin, cos, tan | Maths | Trigonometry |
Overview:
The basic trigonometric functions are displayed as a function of the angle and for a given angle:
sin x, cos x, tan x
The representation of each function on a unit circle is also shown.
You may:
- Switch between the three functions
- Change the value of the angle with the mouse and read the value of the function
Suggestions:
Explain the relationship between both representations of the same function.
Increase the value of the angle and explain the result, especially for the tangent function.
Do the same for ever-decreasing values of the angle (you need not limit yourself to one turn!).
Explain the meaning of the red marks in both figures.
